Grangemouth Enterprises Ltd operates a Furniture Reuse
project.
Furniture is uplifted free of charge from local residents who wish to donate their household goods. This allows the organisation to operate a * “Free Furniture Referral Scheme” that provides household goods free of charge to referred people who are either homeless or in need. Other donated furniture is sold at low cost to anyone on low income. The sales income helps provide employment in the area. Finally, there are significant environmental impacts from the project as a result of diverting furniture from landfill for recycling. Grangemouth Enterprises Ltd is recognised by SEPA as a Waste the organisation is currently undergoing an ISO 9001 Management System audit process.
